BluLoans

Our funding partners

BluLoans is an education and application platform — we are not a direct lender. Applications submitted through BluLoans are processed and underwritten by our funding partners. Here's exactly how that works.

Advance Funds Network (AFN)

Our first funding partner is Advance Funds Network (AFN), a business funding provider serving businesses since 2008{{VERIFY: founding year and description against AFN site/agreement}} with programs including short-term financing, term loans, lines of credit, debt consolidation and SBA loans.

Typical qualification standards

Based on AFN's published program criteria (last verified 2026-08-06, {{VERIFY: against partner agreement}}): generally at least 12 months in business, roughly $35,000+ in average monthly bank deposits, and a personal credit score of 500 or higher for the most accessible programs. Stronger profiles unlock longer terms: term loans (600+), lines of credit (700+, 3+ years in business), and SBA programs (650+, 2+ years, $100K+ annual revenue). Our 20-second pre-qualification check tells you honestly whether applying makes sense today.

What happens after you submit

  1. AFN reviews your application — often the same business day.
  2. An AFN advisor may contact you by phone or email to verify details and discuss program fit.
  3. AFN requests your last 4 months of business bank statements if you didn't upload them.
  4. If approved, AFN presents terms directly to you. Review them with our offer-comparison guide before accepting — you are never obligated to accept.

How your data is handled

BluLoans operates a zero-retention relay for sensitive application data: your Social Security number, date of birth, signature, and bank statements are validated in memory and transmitted directly to the funding partner over an encrypted connection. They are never written to our databases, logs, or analytics. We retain only non-sensitive processing metadata — the application reference ID, timestamp, state, amount range, and outcome — so we can support you if something goes wrong. Details in our Privacy Policy.

How BluLoans is paid

AFN compensates BluLoans for applications processed through the platform. That relationship is disclosed on every application page, and it does not affect our editorial rankings — see our methodology and how we make money.

Frequently asked questions

Who processes my application?

Applications submitted through BluLoans are processed and underwritten by our funding partner, Advance Funds Network (AFN). BluLoans transmits your application securely to AFN; AFN makes all credit and funding decisions. BluLoans is not a lender and does not approve or decline applications.

Will I be contacted?

Yes — expect it. After you submit, AFN typically reaches out by phone or email to verify details, discuss program options, and request recent bank statements if you didn't upload them. You consent to this contact as part of the application, and you can ask AFN to stop contacting you at any time.

Does BluLoans store my Social Security number?

No. Your SSN, signature, and banking documents are transmitted securely to the funding partner during submission and are not retained by BluLoans — not in a database, not in logs, not in analytics. We keep only non-sensitive processing records like the application reference ID and outcome status.

Is submitting an application a guarantee of funding?

No. Submitting an application means the funding partner will review your business; approval, amounts, and terms depend entirely on their underwriting. Meeting minimum criteria makes you eligible to apply — it never guarantees an offer.
