Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Last reviewed August 5, 2026
Our current practice, stated plainly
BluLoans does not sell your personal information. This version of the site also does not share personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. There are no ad networks on the site, no data brokers receiving visitor lists, and no advertising cookies — see our Cookie Policy for the full inventory of what runs here.
The data we handle at all is limited: Google Analytics 4 measurement and email you send us voluntarily. Our Privacy Policy describes both.
Why this page exists anyway
California's CCPA/CPRA — and similar laws in a growing list of states — give residents the right to tell a business not to sell or share their personal information, and require businesses that sell or share data to post a page like this one. We are posting it before we are required to, for two reasons: first, so the commitment is on record; second, so there is a clear place for your request even if you simply want it on file.
{{LEGAL REVIEW}} Counsel to confirm whether BluLoans meets any state privacy law's applicability thresholds at launch, and whether this page's placement and link text ("Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" in the footer) satisfy the format requirements of each applicable statute.
The referral model, and what happens when partnerships launch
Honesty requires looking ahead. BluLoans plans to earn referral compensation when users connect with participating funding providers — the model described in How We Make Money. Today, provider records on the site are clearly marked sample data and no partnerships are live, so no data moves to providers at all.
When partnerships launch, the intended design is that you initiate any connection: you click through to a provider, and whatever you submit on their site goes directly to them, not through us. Under that design, we would not be transmitting your personal information to providers behind the scenes.
{{LEGAL REVIEW}} Before any partnership goes live, counsel must analyze whether the actual referral mechanics (click-through tracking, referral parameters, any lead-passing, and compensated data flows) constitute a "sale" or "share" under CCPA/CPRA's broad definitions. If they do, this page, the footer link, opt-out mechanics, and GPC handling must be updated to full do-not-sell compliance before the first referral is compensated.
How to submit a request
Even though we do not sell personal information today, you may submit a do-not-sell/do-not-share request at any time and we will record it:
- Email privacy@bluloans.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share".
- Tell us the email address (or other identifier) the request covers.
- We will confirm receipt and record the preference, so that if our practices ever change in a way that would matter, your recorded preference is honored.
You can also send a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser; our treatment of GPC is stated on Your Privacy Choices.
No account required, no discrimination
- No account required. BluLoans has no user accounts, so no request ever requires a login, and we will not make you create anything to exercise a right.
- No discrimination. We will never deny you content, charge you (the site is free), or degrade your experience because you exercised a privacy right. Every guide, comparison page, and calculator works identically whether or not you have submitted a request.
- Authorized agents. You may have someone submit a request on your behalf; we may take reasonable steps to confirm the agent's authority.
